International Fraud Awareness Week: Spotting a scam
November 12, 2021Specialist intelligence, counter fraud, data, risk and security apprenticeship training provider, Intelligencia Training, have been graded as a “Good” provider following a recent full inspection of their entire provision across multiple public and private sector organisations.
Having been at the forefront of developing the UK’s intelligence capability provision for many years with a significant impact within Government agencies, the law enforcement community, public sector departments as well as the banking, insurance, security, utilities and gambling sectors the organisation have demonstrated a high level of engagement from both apprentices, managers and senior stakeholders in delivering high quality provision.
Comments from the Ofsted inspection team included: “Apprentices quickly learn a wide range of intelligence techniques to research, analyse, and interpret complex data. Apprentices enjoy learning about new techniques that they can utilise in their work. Many achieve promotion either during or after they complete their studies.
Tutors are highly qualified and experienced in the intelligence and fraud sector. They use their knowledge and expertise extremely well to ensure that the content of the training is up to date. As a result, apprentices develop a good understanding of intelligence analysis. Apprentices can apply to good effect intelligence gathering techniques, such as Geospatial analysis, to their workplace. Apprentices show a highly developed understanding of how to use complex data to identify patterns and trends. Employers quickly allow apprentices to lead on projects which involve researching, analysing and evaluating information to provide solutions to workplace issues.”
Commercial Director, Nick Atkinson, commented: “This result is testament to our continued growth and ongoing support to our specialist teams who deliver high quality training within the niche sectors in which we operate. As the only provider of intelligence apprenticeships to have benefitted from a full Ofsted inspection this provides our growing number of clients the faith that our organisation are good at what we do and that their teams will develop significant new skills whilst increasing capability.
We are very proud of what we have achieved, especially off the back of a testing period within the pandemic in which we were able to maintain the quality of our programmes. We wish to thank our growing number of employers and their apprentices for the continued excellent feedback that was received resulting from our recent Ofsted inspection.”
